SMS™ Licenses Available for Purchase
SMS Basic and SMS Advanced
- SMS is registered online using an AgFiniti username and password.
- Each license provides online registration and an easy transfer process for a single user.
- Licenses are no longer restricted by the number of computers—registration can be transferred through the SMS interface as needed.
- A free 21‑day trial is available for both SMS Basic and SMS Advanced with each new software version.
- Trial periods cannot be extended.
SMS™ Advanced Modules
Advanced modules use an annual subscription model. An active subscription is required to access module features. Subscriptions can be purchased at www.agfiniti.com.
Booklet Printing Module
- Requires an active SMS Advanced license
- Includes a free 3‑day trial
Water Management Module
- Requires an active SMS Advanced license
- No trial period available
Plot Prescription Module
- Designed exclusively for use with an Almaco Seed Star 360 planter
- No trial period available
Field Trial Module
- Requires an active SMS Advanced license
- No trial period available
Note: All Advanced modules follow the same unlock structure as SMS Advanced, but module licenses may be transferred between multiple users as needed.
SMS™ Mobile PC
- Each license unlocks SMS Mobile on one device.
- Includes a free 21‑day trial.

Minimum Requirements
- 1 GHz processor or higher
- Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Server 2012 R2 and newer
- 1 GB RAM
- 4 GB application/data storage space
Recommended Display Resolution
(Using 32‑bit color and 100% text scaling)
- SMS Basic: 1024 × 768*
- SMS Advanced: 1280 × 1024
* Note: When editing installed field tile in SMS Basic, some tools may only be accessible through the menu bar unless the display resolution is increased.
Software Installation Notes
- Client–server installations are not supported.
- SMS operates as a single‑instance application—only one user may access the program at a time.
- Thin‑client installations are not supported.
- Installation on a Windows‑based server with remote desktop access is possible but not recommended, as only one user can access SMS at a time.
