SMS™ - Analysis Wizard
The Analysis Wizard provides access to various analysis functions that are available in the software. These functions are provided in a wizard format to make using them easier and more structured, helping ensure that your results don't contain errors. The Analysis Wizard also allows the management and running of saved analysis function, as well as the ability to run functions in batch and some functions across separate projects.

Analysis Wizard Functions:

Agronomic Analysis

Comparison Analysis

Equation-Based Analysis

Field Trial Analysis

Multi-Year Averages Analysis

NDVI Analysis

Profit/Loss Analysis

Yield Analysis

Zone-Based Analysis

Agronomic Analysis

The Agronomic Analysis is available for SMS Advanced users in version 21.5 and newer. The tool provides feedback on the efficiency of the crop harvest compared to the inputs that were used to create it.

Comparison Analysis

This analysis function is an extremely powerful tool for showing relationships between all the various types of data that you have in your system. It allows you to select a dataset, such as yield data and compare it by soil type, pH values, etc.

Equation Based Analysis

Variable rate prescriptions can be a very helpful tools that allow you to apply a specific amount of an applied product in specific locations on your farm. This can help to increase productivity, maximize applications and, in some cases, save on cost.

NDVI Analysis

This analysis function creates an NDVI dataset set from an NIR image. NDVI stands for Normalized Difference Vegetative Index and is an indicator of a crop's health. Healthy crops will have a high NDVI value. Bare soil, rocks, etc will have NDVI values near zero. Clouds, water, and snow will have negative NDVI values. Raw NIR data, or Vigor as it is often referred to, is also generated using this analysis function.

Zone Based Analysis

This analysis function allows for the creation of a management zone dataset based on user defined inputs, including specific datasets, associated datasets, and attributes. Zone based analysis uses clustering to attempt to find natural groupings of the input data and place them into regions with common characteristics. This tool can also allow the user to define productivity ranking for further analysis.
